Both NFL teams, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings are trying to avoid a first round playoff Blackout for local television. The rule is, if teams don't sell out the stadium the game gets blacked out on local television.
As of Thursday night, Minnesota had roughly 8,000 seats left to fill, and Arizona has just under 3,700 seats. The league is giving these two nfl teams extra time due to the poor economy.
Arizona plays Atlanta on Saturday 1/3/09 at 4:30pm est, The Minnesota Vikings play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday 1/4/09, 4:30pm est.
