As some of you might already know, as soon as you sign into Xbox 360 today, 2/3/09, you will be prompted to download the latest update.
What is this Update?
The update addresses the issue that a few people were having with audio and their HDMI connection. This update will be mandatory for all Xbox LIVE members around the world.
I'm all about Halo 3 now but struggling to hit 40!

thanks a bunch. the xbox site couldn't even tell me what that was for.
I did the update last night and got the ring of death when I went to play World at War. First the screen froze and I had to shut down on the console then restarted and got the three rings.
Wow, you go the ring of death? There are a lot of people reporting they can't get their xbox 360 to work after this February 2009 update.
I hope my xbox doesn't crash, but what can you do, Xbox makes you download the update!
So when i download it, it freezes my system at about 35%. WTF!!!

I also got screwed over by Microsoft with this MANDATORY update. And my console does not even have HDMI to begin with, which was what this update was supposed to fix.
WTF, after 2 crashes my xbox 360 has the ring of death to!!
